My degree in Psychology, Sociology and Business was a perfect fit for my first job as a social worker for the Public Fiduciary in Cochise County. I later became a Deputy Director for the Public Fiduciary, acting as Guardian and Conservator for incapacitated and exploited clients. I later worked as Deputy Director for Medical Assistance for the Cochise County Health Department. Eventually, I brought up a new long-term care AHCCCS Medicaid plan for Cochise, Graham and Greenlee counties. I worked as the Director of Cochise Health Systems until my retirement. My degree was varied enough to prepare me well for all of these positions.
